High Grade Lymphoma

Large cell lymphoma

About 1/3 of pulmonary lymphomas are high grade tumors characterized by:

  • Large, poorly cohesive cells
  • Invasion of medium and small-sized vessel walls
  • Mitoses (arrow)
  • Necrosis
  • Invasion of pleura
  • Usually B-cell type (CD20-positive)
