High Grade Lymphoma

Large cell lymphoma
						About 1/3 of pulmonary lymphomas are high grade tumors characterized by: Large, poorly cohesive cells Invasion of medium and small-sized vessel walls Mitoses (arrow) Necrosis Invasion of pleura Usually B-cell type (CD20-positive)

Large cell lymphoma--CD20 stain for B cells
						A CD20 stain for B cells shows the typical membranous staining.

Large cell lymphoma--necrosis
						Vascular obstruction by tumor produces necrosis (upper right).
