The connective tissue of the wall of the large lung cyst contained nodules of another differentiated tissue. The arrow indicates one. The cells in the lower part of the nodule appear healthy, but those at the top have faded, pink nuclei that indicate coagulative necrosis. What type of differentiated tissue is this? Answer | ||||||

Answer: The differentiated tissue is cartilage. The chondrocytes are shrunken from their cartilage capsules as is usual in normal cartilage. |
