To the reader:

This site is designed to introduce the medical student or physician to the interpretation of pulmonary high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT). Because this interpretation rests on an understanding of some aspects of lung anatomy, pathology, and pathophysiology, we correlate them with the HRCT whenever possible.

This introduction to the interpretation of pulmonary HRCT is divided into three parts.
