Eosinophilic Variant of WG

This section is from a focus of granulomatosis that presented as a renal mass. Focally, numerous eosinophils were present, as shown here. Multinucleated giant cells and a necrotizing arteritis were present elsewhere. An ear lesion showed similar inflammation. In contrast to Churg-Strauss syndrome, a history of asthma was absent.
