The growth pattern of the tumor was best seen in the small, separate nodule that probably represented a lymph node metastasis, although no lymphoid tissue remained. As shown in the photo, sheets of medium-sized cells are traversed by thin-walled vessels. Nuclei are round and the N/C ratio is slightly increased.
